Ade Awofadeju is a London-based illustrator and visual artist whose work explores urban life, community, and the unseen textures of city experience. Working primarily in ink and mixed media, his art carries a raw, graphic energy — part street, part social commentary, entirely his own.

His commissions include a installation for London Underground at Finsbury Park, large-scale work for the Urban Art Festival, the Affordable Art Fair, and Latitude Music Festival. His work has been exhibited at Bankside Gallery and Rich Mix Arts Centre, London.

He believes art has no cultural or visual boundaries — and that its most powerful role is as a platform for expression, especially within communities that rarely see themselves reflected in mainstream art spaces.

Cold Black Arts is available for print commissions, editorial illustration, brand licensing, and exhibition collaborations. Based in North London. Working globally.
